Hello everyone! 🐟

I am thrilled to announce the release of our Ocean Update on fishbse.com! This is our biggest update yet, having been in active development for over three months.

What’s New:

  • Redesigned Listings: We completely overhauled how listings look and feel. You'll find useful new interactive widgets right on the listing page—including commenting, reporting, and favoriting.

  • Upgraded Favorites Tab: The Favorites tab got a fresh redesign, making it much easier to use so you can seamlessly keep track of the listings you love.

  • Overhauled Forum: The Forums received their biggest redesign to date, making the platform significantly more attractive and intuitive to use.

  • Introducing Dashboard v1: The Dashboard has finally reached v1! This will be your primary hub connecting you to your listings, purchases, and trade activity.

  • Enhanced Security & SEO: We reimagined the way listings are created, leveraging SEO, improved reliability, and enhanced security measures across the entire platform.

Safer Transactions & Shipping: We’ve significantly improved our online transaction flow by expanding our partnership with Stripe to deliver the safest, most seamless experience for both buyers and sellers. When you make a purchase, transactions are processed directly through Stripe—where sellers undergo screening—giving our community peace of mind with every trade. We’ve also upgraded our shipping and labeling systems, and your Dashboard will now provide real-time updates on all your Stripe orders.

Smarter Notifications: Our notification system has been dramatically overhauled. The navigation bar now provides smooth, real-time updates regarding your favorites, order statuses, trade requests, and more. You can also enable browser/push alerts directly in your settings!

This is our biggest update yet, and you'll discover plenty of other enhancements as you explore the platform. If you encounter any bugs, please report them on the forums. Thank you for being part of our community!
